At the heart of French Broad Crossing is the Elbow Hollow Conservation Area, which is 230 acres of pristine North Carolina mountain land that has been placed in a conservation easement. The network of hiking trails provides the perfect place to explore the mountain forest and its amazing plant life. The central trail leads to the reflection garden and several beautiful waterfalls along the creek. The Elbow Hollow Conservation Area is home to a multitude of native plant and animal species and is excellent opportunity for nature lovers to stretch their legs.
